Building a positive, creative community, supporting local artists, and improving public spaces.

The Sylva Art and Design Committee (SADC) is a volunteer-led group working to bring more creativity, color, and community connection to Sylva. Throughout the year, we provide free kids’ craft booths at local events and festivals, coordinate two free community Art Walks, and work to bring public art into spaces around town.

We’re currently working on our third community mural, with plans for even more public art projects in the future, including creative panels and installations that can transform boarded-up windows and overlooked spaces around Sylva.
